Safety tips

Always use the correct PPE when handling gases—especially cryogenic liquids like liquid nitrogen. This includes insulated gloves, safety goggles, and closed-toe shoes. These measures guard against extreme cold and potential splashes.

Keep a strict schedule for inspecting and maintaining gas cylinders, valves, regulators and related gear. If any component is damaged or faulty, repair or replace it immediately. Faulty equipment can present serious hazards.

In areas where gases (especially flammable ones) are stored or used, keep all open flames, sparks or smoking materials out. Establish a no-smoking rule and use spark-resistant tools where required to help prevent fires and explosions.

Ensure that all personnel handling gases receive comprehensive training in proper procedures, safety protocols and emergency response. Proper training reduces risks, builds awareness and ensures that your staff can act safely and confidently.
